Question about a Locket......?

i have decided to wear a locket for my boyfriend of 3 years. He is very dear to me and i hold it very close to my heart, well actually it is in my vagina. i want to ask him for a tiny picture and surprise him with it on our first time to have sex. Should i remove before or let him find it for himself?? Should the photo be of me and him together or just him? Thanks for all your help!!
