Let me suggest another option. I built a planter using pressure treated landscaping timbers.cut about 1 foot long. Lay them on the ground side by side with about an inch of space between them. then get a roll of plumbers tape (this is a galvanized strip of thin metal perforated with holes about every 1 inch; a roll is 50 feet long) Lay the tape across the whole row of timbers 2 or3 inches from 1 end and secure each timber to the tape with a screw. Do the same thing 2 or 3 inches from the other end. Now you can stand them up on end and wrap them into a circle around the existing remnants of the whiskey barrel. You will end up with an attractive planter that sort of looks like a whiskey barrel and it will last for 50 years or so. Of course you'll have to do the math to determine how many timbers it takes to form a circle of the circumference desired. The plumbers tape will be on the outside of your planter,resembling the metal bands of the barrel. I made mine in a 20 foot circle around a hickory tree, filled it with soil and planted it full of herbs. This was 25 years ago and it still looks good. I get compliments on it even after all these years.

assuming they are subterranean termites, the termites live under ground, come up to feed on the wood then have to return back to the nest for moisture. You need to remove the wood from next to the house, you will have to move the wood pile for the house treatment to be done along that wall anyways. In the future avoid stacking wood, or anything that hides any section of the home next to it, where you do store the wood be sure to put it on a metal rack to keep the wood from touching the ground.

I had this problem many years ago. So I went down to my local marine suppliers and bought myself a small stainless steel sink complete with hand pump. Then bought a kitchen base unit ,small section of worktop, cut a hole in the top ,dropped in the sink, fitted hand pump. Then in the base unit, put in 2 containers, one for freshwater, the other for waste. I also fitted casters to the base unit enabling me to position it anywhere in the room. The small sink came with a flexible hose which went straight into the waste container. The hand pump also came with flexible holes which went in to the fresh water container. Also fitted door to base unit, which made for a neat and tidy piece of equipment. Hope this helps.

I can tell right now that you really don't want to quit, so even if you try you're not going to be very successful at it. You love cigarettes too much. Even though I've never smoked, I know that smoking gives you a great feeling. That's why I never want to try it. Smoking is a weakness, and giving into the great feeling of smoking is weak. Do you enjoy smoking more than swimming, dancing and boxing? Because the longer you smoke the harder those other activities will be. Every pack-a-day smoker starts like you. They all hate smoking before they try it and they start off slowly. People will have less respect for a smoker because it's a terrible decision. And you know that. Its actually a very fair proposal so the outcome would be hard to predict. But I would guess that it would have little effect on the quantity of garbage simply because it would have little or no effect on peoples buying/ intake habits so regardless there would be same amount of trash. It may encourage them to recycle more, compact it more or throw their trash away elsewhere, which will still end up at the dump and the weight would be the same. Which is how they measure the quantity of garbage at the dump. So it would diminish slightly but not enough to even notice or make any difference. My grandmother died on Sunday and the funeral was today. We are of Jewish descent, and though we are not orthodox we still follow some customs. We received a shiva candle to light once we got home. Hundreds of dark red/black dots on my bed?

For the third time now, I have come home to find hundreds of little black/red dots on my white sheets. They are tiny tiny, like poppyseeds at the largest. Today, I was also lucky enough to find a bug with the dots. The insect is about 1/16th of an inch long, and is brown/black colored. She is 8 and half months. I got her from a woman wher she was being abused in a cage with other birds. Cat health issues! Fleas and tapeworms.?

Alright.. where to begin? I live in a two bedroom apartment in florida with 2 other people.. each of us had a cat. Originally it was just the two kittens (who are now four months old) but then my other room mate brought home her mother's cat when she moved. A few weeks later we started noticing fleas. So the kittens were dewormed and I bought a flea treatment for the kittens.. A month later now though, they have tapeworms again. I called the vet yesterday to talk about getting a shot for treatment but she informed me that it's pretty useless before dealing with the fleas. I purchased a spray for the carpeting, furniture and baseboards of the walls..manages to apply it yesterday in the living room at least for the first time.. and vacuumed and disposed of the contents out in the dumpster in a sealed bag.. changed the litter boxes and wiped them out before refilling.. Here's the real issue though.. my room mate (with the 3rd cat) is a horrible pet owner, really.. She barely pays any attention at all to her cat, and even though she has fleas.. has not brought her to the vet, combed her, or bathed her.. she rarely changes the litter box (I have to do it for her) .. and the damn cat isn;t fixed.. it's a girl.. and mine are two boys 4months old.. Let's make matters even more complicated still, she's invited a friend of hers to stay with us for a few days now, with NO warning whatsoever.. not like I had an option to say no without being a total dick since he was already here with all his luggage and such. There just could not possible be a worse time for her to do this, really.. he seems like a polite person, but since he's in the living room now.. I don't know how I'm going to even begin to deal with the fleas.. The spray I have is toxic to inhale.. or absorb through skin or membranes.. so I have to lock the cats in the bedrooms to apply it in the living room.. and be sure to open the windows (we are on the second floor) to air out the apartment while it dries.. I don't want to put off treating them any longer than I have to, since the worms in the kittens stools are about an inch.. inch and a half long! Gross, I know.. and I feel horrible about it, I really do. I want to give them a bath with flea shampoo I had purchased.. I may still do that anyway tonight.. and then apply the advantix (I think that is the brand) I got from the vet. It seemed to rid them of fleas for about 3 and a half weeks.. before I noticed them scratching again. I'm just really aggrevated.. I want so badly for her to be out of the apartment, or at the very least to be rid of her annoying, neglected siamese cat. Someone like her should not have a pet in my opinion.. there are many days she forgets to even feed her.. and so I do that too.. along with picking up after her hairballs, and cleaning the waste she leaves behind when she poos outside her box on the kitchen floor! I spend so much time catering after her animal.. and she KNOWS we have a flea problem, but she invites company over without even asking first. I don't know if maybe I'm over-reacting.. but I don't think I am.. I didn't get the chance to tell her about the worms yet, I just noticed them yesterday morning.. I guess I'll just text her that info. What should I do? I'm overwhelmed.. If I give them a bath with the flea treatment and then apply the advantix later after they have dried will it work okay? Or should I wait to do the shampoo and just apply the liquid treatment to the back of the necks on the skin? I need to at leats get them off of them so I can take them to the vet.. I don't want to wait! But with the company here, I feel I have no option.
