Question about shiva candle being blown out?
My grandmother died on Sunday and the funeral was today. We are of Jewish descent, and though we are not orthodox we still follow some customs. We received a shiva candle to light once we got home. Well, I lit the candle and had it on our mantle above the fireplace, and a few hours later it was blown out, I'm assuming because the ceiling fan got accidentally turned on (it wasn't on when I left and it was on when I came back). I've moved the candle to a place where no fan can affect it. But I know the shiva candle is not supposed to be blown out. So, is this bad? I mean, it was an accident and it wasn't blown out by human breath.
