WHY ISN'T MY EAR POPPING GOING? 10 POINTS?

well I have had ear poppinh when I swallow for 3 weeks. the dr checked in my ear and said it was inflammed and that may have caused a bacterial infection. he gave me drops containing antibiotics and steroids. I use the ear drops 2wice a day. I started it on saturday. it's tuesday and it's not going. I have to dispose it in 28 daaays. When will it go? and will it even go? it's driving me maaaaaad. I used to have ear eczema like 5 weeks ago and another dr gave me the same thing but i did not use it properly. when I swallow it used to be popping now its a different sound. does that mean it's getting better please help im sooo worried i keep researching and askng people they dunnoo.
